1. The Signature Multiply Stainless Steel Insert

Its inner layer is also made of food-grade stainless steel. The multi-ply stainless steel inserts can be placed directly on a cooktop. It's scratch-resistant; any scratch marks will not cause any damage to the insert.

Its durable stainless steel construction means no coatings come off, and the rice cooker offers very modern cooking methods.

2. What Is IH Function?

IH means it doesn't use base heat like a conventional rice cooker. Instead, the heat is 360 degrees, which means rice, porridge, food, and soup are cooked with far better results.

3. Distinct Cooking Functions to Meet Diverse Tastes

(I) Rice function

There are three options to choose from — normal, hard and soft. Just add the appropriate level of water according to the instruction menu, and the cooker will do its job.

(II) Grain function

If you're using brown rice or basmati rice, we recommend the grain rice function. Cooking brown rice usually requires soaking it for a few hours ahead of time, but with the IH Smart Cooker, you can just put the rice in and cook it straight away.

(III) Porridge/congee/soup function

You can make perfect porridge by adding rice and water and pressing one button - no need to worry about porridge spilling over. The same button can be used for soup, with this quiet and slow heating method. It can then cook soup and porridge within 4 hours.

(V) Steam function
You can steam, stir fry, and stew food directly in the cooker. Since the insert is made of stainless steel, you don’t need to worry about utensils or bones scratching the surface.

(VI) Preset function
All functions we've mentioned above can be preset. Let’s say you put rice and water inside and preset it to cook. The start time can be preset within a 24-hour time frame.

Rice to water ratio for stainless steel rice cooker

• Capacity is measured in the approximately 160ml rice measuring cup.
• It is always wise to allow a bit of extra water when you cook less than two cups.
• Please turn off the power once the cooking time is completed. Let the rice sit for 10 minutes for a better result.
